As an attorney, I sign my name all day long. I also am always marking up paperwork and taking notes. These pens are the best writing pens I’ve ever used. My clients remark routinely on how well they write and often try to take the pens with them when they leave - but I don’t let them! The only negative is that they are a little on the expensive side - but worth it!nice inkMy husband loves the way these Uni-Ball pens write and prefers them to ball point pens. He has been using only these pens for many years and has been happy with them. The ink and the way it writes seems similar to a fountain pen and he finds it smoother and easier to write with them.There are a couple of reasons I still prefer to use ball point pens instead of these. The Uni-Ball ink seems to take a little longer to dry and it smudges when my hand comes in contact with the ink before it's had time to dry. The other reason is that it also smudges when I try to write over ink that has been whited out. For me, neither of these is a problem with a ball point pen.So, I intend to continue using ball point pens, but my husband intends to keep using these. It's clearly a matter of personal preference. As for this purchase, I ordered it for my husband and he is very happy with this purchase.PerfectGreat penI'm a teacher and I'm pretty picky about the pens I use. These are in my top two or three as far as go to pens. They write smoothly, feel substantial in your hand, and have a nice, dark imprint when you write.Makes me want to write.I ran across one of these when looking for pens in all my drawers. I have been retired for ~7 years and used these in my job in addition to my now broken (cover) Mont Blanc with felt tip writers. I think these write equally as smooth and are likewise my favorite pen, so I ordered a box in black and one in blue even tho they stretch the budget. They are smooth writing and for a calligrapher who often likes to write fancy this is important. The bold tip adds to its smooth writing with minimal pressure required. You do need to let it dry for a few seconds before touching or your writing will smudge. They last for quite awhile and don't dry out if you leave the cap off.Escribe perfectamente.
