I originally bought this because they seem like they would be less attracted to a magnet where I work and they were. They write great and definitely erasable. My favorite penGreat pens with dark ink that erases easily.I have ordered these several times. This pen will not keep you from making mistakes when you take pen to paper like some old person born in the 1800's, but the days of unsightly cross-outs, blobs of Liquid Paper (another product only us olds will remember) and correction tape are OVER, BABY! Make mistakes! Go on! Because this pen will erase them.I take a lot of notes, and these are my go-to pens.Who doesn't like an erasable pen? I mean, really. When I was a kid, we didn't have this magic technology. Iffn ya wanted to erase, you had to write with a...gasp...pencil! Then, one day, Bic or someone else in the Pen Business came out with an erasable pen. We were astonished. Back-to-school shopping brought tears of joy that year. But then the school year started and those tears turned to white-hot rage. Why? Because those craptacular newfangled pens erased, all right--they erased a dang hole in your paper! Talk about unsightly! You could tell immediately who had used an erasable pen because when they held their papers up to the light, you could see right through them like Swiss cheese. And to top it off, they didn't write darkly enough...it was like the pen was sayin', "I know you is gonna make all kinds of mistakes, so I'm just going to rest my ink lightly on top of the paper for when you screw up." I HATED THOSE PENS.So when I saw these pens in a store (remember those, kids?) a few years ago, I was a mite skeptical. The package did not say "will not shred your paper to ribbons like other erasables," but LAWS-A-MERCY, it should have! I mean, I bought them anyway, and I was thrilled to find that they work beautifully. They do not shred the paper. Being gel ink, they write smoothly and darkly, too. (Pro tip: if you make a mistake, and you will, wait a few extra seconds for the ink to dry before erasing. It will come off cleaner that way.)I prefer the blue and the black to the pink, red, green, or purple, but you do you. Write! Mess up! Erase! Repeat! These pens make it possible. YOU COULD BE THE NEXT NABOKOV, OR J. C. OATES, OR CAPOTE.What's not to like!! Smooth writing, dries quick and erases completely!!!I work in Medical Field & I use this pen daily when I do my progress notes. I can focus on trying to get my job done without worrying having to mess up. ??-Thank you guys! These pens are among the best in terms of erasing. But if you expect them to last very long if you are constantly writing and marking papers every single day prepare for them to only last a week, and at the lowest three or four days (obviously depending on your use case). Another problem is that they are just too expensive if you need to replace them as often. The last problem, and what makes them erase so well, is that if you decide to put a warm plate on your notes like I did get ready to try and remark notes, whoops, but this is easily avoided.Perfectly erasable. This is the only pen I use for editing. I get mad if I can’t find one (of my many) and have to use anything else!I love these pens, but half did not work, so was not a good deal!I write a lot of letters and make lots of mistakes. So the erasable feature is wonderful. I also like that I can choose between .5 or .7 cartridge. As well I appreciate that I can purchase refills for my pens, which keeps the cost down.Being left handed I find some pens are to fine . . pointed and scratchy . . since a lefty spends a lot of time pushing instead of pulling a pen.Very Happy with my purchase.Works as it's supposed to.Great ink and erases with eaeeI've been using Pilot Erasable Pens for years. They are awesome. Unfortunately, the batch I ordered here arrived with 4 of the 6 pens having dried out ink. Too much hassle to return. Super disappointed.
